Former Hungry Jack’s Fremantle is being revitalised into a three-storey sports bar, transforming a long-vacant landmark building into a vibrant hospitality venue within Fremantle’s historic city centre.

ABK Fire Engineering provided specialist fire engineering services to support the adaptive reuse of the existing structure. ABK developed compliant, performance-based fire safety strategies tailored to a multi-level hospitality environment, addressing the constraints of an inner-city footprint and the retention of the existing building fabric.

The scope included fire safety solutions for high-occupancy assembly spaces, safe egress across multiple levels, and the integration of fire protection systems within a refurbished building.
